Kathie Winkle was a highly prolific designer for James Broadhurst & Sons (Broadhurst Ironstone) from the late 1950s through the 1970s. Her designs were explicitly marketed under the tagline "Beauty on a Budget" and were mass-produced in immense quantities to be affordable for everyday British households.
The Style: Silver Dawn features Winkle's signature geometric, stylized floral stamp work that was hand-painted under a detergent-proof glaze.
